Hard to start

1 post in this topic

I got a 2002 Mazda 626, 2.0, auto trans. The car is very hard to start when cold and not much better when warmed up. It has a new fuel pump, coil pack, plugwires and a new MAF. On another site I read if u unplug the MAF when the car is running it should shut down. Mine does not shut off with this hooked up or not. When I go to start it I must tap the gas pedel up and down and keep this up untill it hits off good, then it runs like it was flooded out after that it seems to run ok. Also when it warms up good it idles really low and some time will die. Any ideas on what might be going on here?  Thank you!
