How to change V6 fuel injectors without removing Intake Manifold

I decided to post a few pics with detailed instructions following the tips PaulG has provided in previous post. I'm just pretty much adding pics.

First make sure that you need the injector by testing each of them with the ohm meter. To test the rear bank just check continuity between the top right corner prong with the remaining three.

For the front bank (not 100% sure) test the second one from the left with the remaining three. Open loop means bad injector....

I'm Changing Cylinder 5, I just did cylinder 1 last week....

The tools I needed

1) Release the pressure from the system, by removing the fuel pump relay (green) in the fuse box

2)start disconnecting the vacuum hoses out the way

3) disconnect the vaccuum from the fuel regulator

4) Disconnect the plugs to the injectors

5) Disconnect the gas line from the fuel regulator

6)Place a rag under the main fuel line to avoid dropping the washer from the connector

7)Remove the bolt 17mm

8) Remove the fuel hose between fuel rails

10) Remove rail 2 of 2 bolts

11) Slide the rail carefully making sure not to drop the little plastic (washers/spacers) for the two bolts.

12)Now take off bolt 1 of 2 on the front rail

13) Remove bolt 2 of 2 and remove rail like first one

New one

I wonder why Mazda has such expensive fuel injectors. Its like over twice the price of any other car brands out there.

I guess nobody every told you that they add super secret special Mazda Sauce alloy to the injectors, it makes them 10000x better

-I hope nobody quotes me on that.
