First post so sorry for weird formatting. My question is what modifications would be needed to swap the engine and trans from an 88 626 turbo into a 2002 i4 626? if this has been asked before please link me. Thanks in advance!

I have a 1994 626 with the 2.0L. Does anyone know if the cams from different year 626's, MX6's or Ford Probe are more aggressive to get a little more out of the car. Same goes for the ECU's between the cars. Is there a better one? If so which one is better. Also is there an option for a JDM piston set that will up compression slightly.
!! WARNING !! CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THIS STORE HAS GONE DOWN THE TOILET LATELY. IT IS NOT ADVICED TO SHOP FROM THEM ANYMORE SINCE THEY DO NOT DELIVER THE ITEMS! Hi all, Just thought I'd post about a website that I have dealt with who provide New & Used parts for Many Mazda models (626,MX6, MX5, 323F to name a few) whom I would highly recommend. http://www.fordprobe...store/index.php I ordered an electric radio aerial kit, LED bulbs and other parts from these guys. Promptly delivered as promised at a good price. I am in NO WAY affiliated with this website, I am just trying to help fellow European 626'ers out who may need it. Thanks Ash.626 :-)
