  1. 1995 Es Keyless Entry Fob

    hey, i was wondering how to find out which key fobs will work for my car. i got it used and the guy didnt have the remote for it, so i dont have the remote to find out the FCC ID# and also would the 95's remote have had a trunk pop button? because im seeing some 3 button fobs for my year that (along with the lock/unlock) have only the alarm button, only the trunk button, and even one that has all 4. which one is the right one? im mostly just looking on amazon and ebay
  2. hello all, well I've unfortunately been having to deal with all the flooding in SC this past weekend and the water has done a number on my car. i was driving at maybe 25 mph and hit a large puddle about 4 inches deep. the car stalled and i have since not been able to get it to start. when the key is turned the solenoid clicks and the starter spins up with a whirling noise and that's it. it seems like the starter isn't even engaging the fly wheel. i've tried push starting it but when the clutch is released the car stops like you've slammed the brakes. could the water have caused my timing belt to slip? the timing belt, alternator, and plug wires are all new and no trouble codes were found.
  3. Airbag Light Flashes 7 Twice

    The airbag light started flashing out of nowhere one day. It flashes 7 times pauses then flashes 7 again. I've looked up codes and there isn't a 77.. What does this mean??
  4. Hi, This is my first post to the forum as I am the proud new owner of a green 1995 Mazda 626 2.0 with a 5 speed. I bought the car with the CEL on after doing the jump into diag mode to find codes 15, 16, 17, and 29. I replaced the O2 Sensor (Radiator side, looked awfully sooty) for codes 15 and 17 and removed the EGR valve for cleaning. After following the procedures for cleaning only on this forum I put the EGR valve back in. I have not checked for vacuum in the EGR system but all hoses appear to be connected. I am trying to figure out code 29. To my understanding this is not a stored code- it only shows when I jump to diag mode with the TEn Pin and Ground. I need some assistance diagnosing this. Is it a bad solenoid? Are the vacuum lines hooked up wrong? Something else entirely? Here are my observations so far: 1. I can feel/hear the solenoid switching on when I turn key to on/run. 2. I can blow air through all holes of the solenoid if removed 3. I do not know how to check for proper resistance in solenoid! 4. Wiring looks ok and I have 12V at the red/black wire 5. The other wire in the socket is purple/red stripe -- Not white/blue as the forums here seem to say. However, for the Vacuum Solenoid they are White/Blue on my car it appears? Thanks, DPesce

I KNOW IM PROBABLY POSTING THIS IN THE WRONG FORUM AND I KNOW IM POSTING IT ON THE WRONG SITE BUT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR AN OWNERS MANUAL FOR MY 96 PROTEGE IN PDF EVERYWHERE ON THE INTERNET AND I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO FIND ONE.... I NEED YOU GUYS HELP TO HELP ME FIND ONE. ALSO 95,97,98 OWNER MANUALS WILL WORK AS WELL. THANKYOU IN ADVANCE
