Passenger window stuck 2/3 of the way up. Assisted by the motor I can't pull it up or push it down. Torquing it pretty good it wiggles in place and that's about it. Motor is fully operational or at least sounds like it makes it's usual noise as if all the way down and up but is obviously not connected to the window sounds pretty basic I know Wondering if anyone has any experience jus don't want to mess it up or do it the hard way. I have the door panel off but can't see what exactly the motor is doing but pushing and pulling a couple of cords my next move is taking the inner most sheet of metal off so I can see whats going on any better ideas?
It won't move from zero at all. But everything else like the RPM, gas, temp gauges work fine. I'm hoping it's a doable DIY fix. What do I need to check and where? Guide pictures would be appreciated. Please, and thanks in advance! (626, 1993 4 cyl)
Hi guys! A day ago my power steering pump burst its liquid all over the engine, and I think it has severe leaks in it which requires replacement. However, I find it quite difficult to find another pump in Australia and it may take a couple weeks before I could replace the whole thing, yet I need the car for daily purpose, so I have two questions: 1) can I just remove the accessory belt and drive without P/S? 2) is the accessory belt connected with alternator? or are they using two different sets of belts? Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated :) Thanks guys!
1993 Mazda GE 626 Hatchback. 2.5L V6, 5 speed manual, no leaks, runs very well, gearbox changes gears great and there is no crunching. Alloy wheels, good tyres, new battery and a few other bits under the bonnet. Sony Xplod CD/MP3 player with speakers. No reg/RWC, but confident that it will need minimal time and work to pass an inspection. BAD POINTS: Clutch needs adjustment, still drives very well but it just feels a bit loose. Few scratches and dents around the car, still presents well though. Slight rip in the driver's seat, nothing to affect it passing a RWC. Located in Werribee VIC 3030. $1,000 ONO. 0413 103 425 - Joel.
