  1. Happy Father's Day All

  2. Still trying to figure out why my car is stalling out when the tank is half empty.  Otherwise it runs like a champ.  Thought it could be the fuel pump strainer sock.  It sat for 8 months. I've ran Heat and lots if other fuel system cleaners and changed fuel filter.  Any ideas would be appreciated. My IAC is slightly under on the voltage.  Ex. Should be 5.7v and it's 5.1v.  Will cleaning it help?

  5. There is also a transmission range sensor I believe that causes the tranny to over Rev.
  6. The problem I have is when the tank is full it runs great but when it gets down to half tank is starts bucking and acting like it's not getting gas.  The car sat for 8 months.  Only codes are MAF, o2 and air temperature sensor.  I am at a loss here.  My brain hurts lol.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Shane

  7. I recently bought an obd2 scanner and I was wondering if my IAT sensor is in the MAF.  I have the v6  my MAF and IAT is bad.  I can't find it.  I have  a custom cold air intake.

    Thanks all

      It's actually inside the MAF.

  8. My MAF is bad. Have the same symptoms. It shows power but when opening the voltage should drop. Not a lot could cause it. IAC, maf and tps. If everything else works.
  9. Thanks for the info. I'll definitely check the timing.
  10. No I don't have a timing light but it could be replaced because of age alone. It idles smooth but I have to feather the gas and it does fine. I checked the MAF and the volts stay at 5. It doesn't drop when opening it. Hope this is it and hope I done the check correctly. Thanks a lot. I will get the timing and check the coil.
  11. My 2.5 is stumbling under load but idles ok just a little high.  I've changed filter and checked several other things.  I'm about to clean the IAC but I don't want to if I don't have to.  Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

It is worse when I first start it of a day.  If I feather the gas it does ok.  If I press hard it doesn't do anything.  Like it dies but it doesn't.  I've been chasing this issue for weeks.  I just don't want to do unnecessary work. Check engine light isn't on either.  Any info would be appreciated.

I back probed the MAF and the volts stay at 5.  It doesn't drop when opening it by pushing the valve in.  I'm guessing it's my MAF?  Anyone have any input it would be greatly appreciated.

  12. I changed the clutch release bearing and throw out bearing and bled the system and it works great.
  13. IAC can also cause these issues. I'm dealing with stumbling under load myself but it idles fine just a little high. Idk what else to check after I clean the IAC and it doesn't work. Good luck
  14. They look like dog bones. It's an Allen wrench and nut on the outside.
