Think the petrol and diesel are different. The vacuum pump is beside the camshaft. The brake servo runs from the foot pedal to the back of engine left hand side as you look at it(im in uk)

can anyone help please. 2001 diesel 626 failed because the brake pedal was hard at low revs. changed the vacuum pump still the same. ideas anyone? cheers in advance
