  1. Sophie, I clicked on it and its the same issue... $70+shipping for a plastic bottle. there are many generic ones but many have the inlet port in a position where i cant mount it in my car. So again, has anyone used a generic bottle, which one, and do you have the ecast part number. My car is a 2.0. I dont know why there arent any direct generics for this year, weird.
  2. Not looking for a used one. There are plenty of aftermarket Dorman ones, even for the 2.5L but not the 2.0L. Anyone used a universal one? If so what part number?
  3. Any ideas on a reasonable replacement? Im not paying $80 for a tank to hold coolant... No, not a used one, either.
  4. ya the 1041667 is for a standard tranny, the 1041961 is for an automatic.
  5. the anchor is listed as compatible but not the beck arnley. i just dont understand how beck can make all but the rear for an AT 2001 626 but make one that looks just like it but is for pre98.... has ANYONE bought a rear mount from beck for 98-02 626 AT with a 2.0?
  6. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANCHOR-9481-Motor-Engine-Mount-Engine-Mount/161083158379?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D783084587351206280%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D360675466584%26#vi-ilComp http://www.ebay.com/itm/Beck-Arnley-Engine-Mount-104-1963-/111054462438?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19db5c9de6&vxp=mtr#vi-ilComp
  7. anchor 9481 and beck 104-1963.... whats the dif?
  8. Talked to them around 2pm today, they dont offer the rear engine mount for an automatic. She said they are going to check with Amazon and Rock to see why they are offering it as a mount for an AT.
  9. Emailed twice, no reply. Will try calling Monday. Of corse if someone pipes in and says they used that one, that works for me.
  10. DJ, 1041347 is for a manual transmission, per Beck/Arnley. That's why I had asked who had used them. Rock auto, amazon etc show dif ones. If you have used it and it worked, let me know. I appreciate the help but I tend to believe what the mfgr says. I hope this didn't come off as snippy, not my intention. I have spent a lot of time researching this and figured I'd ask the forum. Logging into to rock auto was step one
  11. I have a 2001 626 2.0 with an A/T, im not finding the same part numbers for the mounts depending on where I look and the Beck/Arnley site doesnt even list the one for the rear. Has anyone changed these out with Becks and has the part number still? Not looking to start a discussion on what mounts are best, I have always used Becks without issue for years. My guess as to the correct ones is: 104-1962 passenger side 104-1961 front 104-1514 driver side on tranny rear? any others missing? I also find another tranny mount from ANchor that is tiny, 9087. But i dont see it while looking from the top. Is that for a different trans maybe? Amazon and even parts stores show it as a correct mount. Why the hell is this so hard? lol
  12. im having a fan issue, caused the same symptom. the fan motor connectors are failing. by putting pressure on them they spin at full speed. if they are barely spinning it wont cool the radiator or the condenser.
  13. Are there any replacements that arent the norm? Came across this on ebay http://www.ebay.com/...p=mtr#vi-ilComp nothing else but the title says its for a 626, but it looks dead on to what we have in the 2000-2002.
  14. as stated above, did that at autozone and NTB.... at that time it was charging fine and they found no problems. battery stays at 12v when turned off. battery is good.
