  3. I had a similar issue with my 92 MX6 GT, the headlight switch stock would leave the lights on when turned off, replaced it with a junkyard unit, no issues since.
  4. If you were to use ATF fluid, how much and for how long would you run it for before an oil change ? Antique plates here in FL are sky blue with whithe lettering , it has crossed my mind a few times lol.
  5. Devon, any updates on the car? Ever put the engine back in ?
  6. It only took me 3 years but I finally replaced the rear valve cover gasket, new painted valve cover and the the infamous lightly ported KLG4 manifold. Now at 130K miles the heads look quite clean to my surprise . Swapping out the DE manifold for the G4 manifold for the first time was a royal pain, the DE Mani has so many vacuum likes and things attached to it it's crazy! With the KLG4 mani, it has a different sound of induction at idle and Accelerating even WOT sounds different. I'm running a MAF swap(Thanks FIS for the harness as always )so it compliments the KLG4 manifold very well. I'm happy with the results. ... three years later LOL The KLDE mani was caked up with carbon and oil build up inside it when I pulled it off, However , the intake valves are super clean with no build up on them, very nice to find.
  7. For that olive oil Temp and psi , shhhh... more on that later Under a rock lol! Damn never saw the email. I know right shieeeet haha. I got off Facecrap(deactivated acc) for a while. Thanks man i appreciate that oh trust me, i do want to buy all the Mazdas lol but no this was my friend Emilio's MX6 that went to car heaven , I got the CF hood from it, it's so effing light weight compared to the heavy OEM lead one lol!! I really need to update this build thread, done a few things since last time i posted .... One, Year, Later
  8. Someone's been busy haha.... more to come

  10. Met up with some local Mazda enthusiasts and went for a cruise to Key Largo @ Gilbert's Resort, very cool place to relax. I brought the 929 naturally it's a perfect cruising car
  11. Thanks!! Straight from Hong Kong, 1:43 scale Mazda 929 scale model
  12. Found an Ultra rare LE MX-6 (91 Leather edition) and relived it of its leather seats, front and rear plus the leather steering wheel for my GT Videos are coming :D
  13. Here the promised video and description of my new Center housing for the F2T : Long story short, My 1992 Mazda MX6 GT 2.2 turbo blew; I bought a rebuild kit for the IHI VJ11 and rebuilt the internals, my original compressor and turbine wheels had axial play and moved in/out and got shaven down significantly so they're useless now. Found a 1988 Ford ThunderBird Turbo coupe at the junkyard and took its Turbine wheel/shaft(same as the VJ11) compressor wheel and housing as an upgrade to my Turbo. Sent it out to get balanced and after cleaning it the shop calls me back to let me know the turbine seal ring groove is too worn out and it will leak oil into the exhaust housing so it's no good! After All this time and effort I still have no usable turbocharger for my car. At this point I'm feeling fairly hopeless but then a light bulb lit on top of my head, no literally I actually turned the lights On lol! Decided to give it one more try, search eBay for the infamous VJ11 center housing, found a seller overseas selling brand new units ready to install, bought right away. a few days later well this video happened , I'm so happy I'll be able to get some boost in my life again haha!!! Lesson learned! Look for a complete CHRA next time if your turbo blows, it's cost effective tenfold.
