Fuel Lines Between Filter And Fuel Rail,. 2000 626

ok i need to know were upper fuel filter hose connects to on the rail is the one right in front? or the one closer to the head kinda underneath?? 2000 Mazda 626 4banger.

Always remember that the FPR (fuel pressure regulator, that little metal canister on one end of the rail) is the fuel RETURN line....the regulator bleeds off excess fuel pressure and dumps it back into the fuel tank. The fuel filter is on the supply side, which feeds directly into the fuel rail/injectors.
