Known good color matching paint

# 11M Silver Frost Metallic = Dupli-color BFM0341 Silver Frost Ford

# G1 Sahara Gold Metallic = Dupli-color BCC0401 Champagne Pearl (Chrysler)

We'll start with 2002 and go in descending order.

If for whatever reason in the future the images don't load you'll have this list of codes to fall back on. These are all known codes and colors where as the color samples above only go back to 1986. Hope this info is helpful.

Source: http://forums.mazdaw...626-mx-6-a.html
The data in this list was compiled from a website called PaintScratch.com, which sells bottles of touch-up paint and complete paint kits.

To find your paint code, open the driver's door and look on the door jamb for a factory sticker with various information on it - you'll see a two- or three-digit code that corresponds to the colors listed here.

I'm guessing I have Platinum Mica, as that's the only silver-y sounding color for '95. :P

How do you explain yours, DJ, I don't see Sahara Gold listed on '95?

Compiled from 2 different sources. I figured between the 2 they've got to list every color. Hahaha I didn't even notice my color wasn't in the sample. I'll have to fix that. Prince, there's no need to guess. You can find the color code on your drivers door well. Actually I'll make a graphic for that. Got hurricane Irene passing off the coast. Don't have anything better to do.

If anyone spots a code that's not in the sample images please provide me with a picture of the car so I can match the color best I can and update the images. There are some missing but I'm not going to go out of my way to update it unless you want me to. They are SAMPLES and not meant to be a true reflection of the color since the samples are solid RGB colors and contain no metallic flecks. If you have a metallic color don't be disappointed that the color sample here doesn't look right because it won't.

Yeah my '84 diesel sedan is G9. My other '84 model is WU. Also owned two 83 sedans that were K3 and a coupe that was TC.

I have seen other '87s in Taxi beige here in Australia, and I agree its disgusting. What were they thinking at Mazda HQ. The only thing I can think of is that they were meant to be Japanese Taxis and ended up in Australia due to there being too many produced in Japan. This makes sense as alot of the ones I saw were diesels which could have been popular in Japan as Taxis.
