Engine problems
are better at home at the board

Okay, haikus aside, if you had a sensor that would prevent the engine from running, it wouldn't give spark or fuel.

Are plug wires in correct order? Is there a chance some of the injectors could be clogged (a prolonged storage tends to do this), two faulty injectors will prevent the engine from running. Also, have you checked ignition system condition? With a bad ignition you might get spark in the open air but not inside the cylinder.

What was done to the car when it stopped running? Did u replace some parts, or did it just not start one day? Have u done a compression test?
