I recently purchased a 2000 626 4cyl and have no owners manual. I am desperate to get my Sirius radio up and running but the cigarette lighter isn't working (Ugghh). What can I do? Fuse problems?

I'd check the fuse ;)

I'll move this to "audio and electronics"

my first guess would be fuse. check at the kick panel on the drivers side.fuse numbe 15, and it is a 15 amp fuse. also check #19 that is a 15 amp as well

if the fuses are good you can always pull the cigarette lighter out and check behind it to make sure the wires are connected good

did it stop working when you started using serius? or did it never work?

if the former is the case then this would be the 6th time (6different makes and models)
that i've heard of someones cig lighter having issues... and 2/3 of the time it's not the fuse.

HARD WIRE that beeaa

check the connections on the back of the element
check the ground wire from the element.

Cigarette Lighter Stopped working… :(
Strangle my Cigarette Lighter Power plug on my 626 stopped working. I had tested lighter and other power adapters on different vehicles. All works fine. Does the Cigarette Lighter on the 1998 626 use a separate fuse or is sharing with other devices
More-so, the car radio and all electrical components works perfectly.
Please help…
