I thought the firing order was 1,2,3,4,5,6.

And the position of the cylinders (when standing in front of the hood) is:

1-3-5
2-4-6

153624 is for a typical inline 6 cyl., not a V6 ;)

And to the originator of this thread, please don't double post, I'm deleting the other topic and moving this one to the technical section.

That service manual link is for the I4 models. Is there a service manual like that one available for the V6's online?

..the two 3's was a typo.

Sorry vlad. Unless my brain has really fried, it's:

Numbering of cylinders
Firewall
1,3,5
,2,4,6
Radiator

Cylinder Firing order: 123456

BUT: the order of the wires on the disty cap is NOT the same as the firing order (I know this sounds strange, but there is a cross-over inside the disty cap, so the wires can fit on better). The best strategy is to look at the numbers printed on the disty cap itself. If there are no numbers printed on the cap, then try this order:
Top of disty
4,5,3
6,1,2
Bottom of disty.

(I was guessing that was the meaning of the numbers after your name, snailman!)

Yes Nick, you're right! It's my brain that's fried.

I edited by above post so it won't confuse anyone.

And I had to edit my post quickly too, because I got the order on the disty wrong! ;)
